Below is the sled that began my restoration interests in Bolens Diablos. I had this Diablo along with another in a shed for 15-20 years. Life finally slowed down a bit as my children got older and I decided to get one out and restore it. This is a rebuild completed from August of 07′ through January of 08′. Many of the pictures throughout this web site are from this restoration, but following are some pictures taken that may not be on other pages of the site.
Looking back now on the first restoration, it was not a complex effort. But you do learn things along the way that make future restorations easier and better. This Diablo was bought by Duane B and it now resides in Canby, Minnesota.
